The route becomes a mix of exposed scree and firm snow patches near the top. September (Clear Autumn Window): The air turns crisp, dry, and exceptionally clear, yielding razor-sharp peak views. However, nighttime temperatures plummet to -10°C to -15°C, and sudden autumn snow dustings can make the upper scree slopes slick.

gressive Altitude Management: Because the road brings climbers to 14,800 ft very quickly, the risk of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), High Altitude Pulmonary Edema (HAPE), and High Altitude Cerebral Edema (HACE) is high. Daily pulse-oximeter tracking, a mandatory 4-liter fluid intake, and an emergency oxygen cylinder at ABC are non-negotiable. Terrain Hazards: The upper flanks of Yunam consist of rolling scree and unstable shale. Team members must maintain single-file spacing to prevent dislodging loose rocks onto climbers below.
